My name is Michelle Taffe. I am the pre-kindergarten teacher here at Children’s Leadership Academy. I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in music. After teaching 2nd and 3rd graders for 7 years, my husband and I decided it would be best for me to take some time off to be a stay-at-home mom and teacher to our now 4 year old and 1 year old. I enjoyed my time at home, and now I am eager to take what I’ve learned and return to the classroom.
In my spare time, I enjoy singing at churches and other venues. I also enjoy writing music and plan to make a children’s cd soon. My family and I enjoy playing at the park and at the beach. Some of my favorite children’s books are Love You Forever, Nine O’Clock Lullaby, and The Runaway Bunny.
I look forward to getting to know you and your child this year!

Marlene Regine Delva

Teaching has been in my blood from childhood. As a young girl I used to help taking care of the children in my boarding school.  I was born and lived in Haiti most of my life. After graduating from a renowned school of secretariat and administration, I returned and started teaching at my former elementary school: Salesian Catholic Mission where I spent 30 years and plus teaching. I followed my family, my husband of 38 years and my three Children to Georgia 10 years ago. My first job in the USA was in a children day care. I later obtained my Childhood Development Associate from Penn Foster Career School. For five years, I have operated my own family daycare. Children are my passion and I will, as long as I can, care for them and guide them.
